New evidence will make Dems regret cozying up to this 'gangbanger' (2025)

Find yourself someone who looks at you the way an elected-Democrat looks at a suspected MS-13 gangbanger.

When I first saw the pictures of Maryland Senator Chris van Hollen gazing lovingly into the eyes of deported illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia over cherry-garnished, sugar-rimmed drinks, I was stunned.

Why are today's liberals so intent on championing the worst possible 'heroes'?

The White House quickly countered Van Hollen's photo-op with one of their own, showing President Donald Trump consoling Patty Morin in the Oval Office.

She's the grieving mother of Maryland woman Rachel Morin – a mother of five herself – who was savagely beaten, raped and killed by an illegal migrant from El Salvador in August 2023.

Van Hollen has never had his picture taken with Patty Morin – his own constituent.

Why? Could it be that she's not the type of 'victim' that he's looking for?

Let's examine Garcia's case more closely.

He is gently described as a 'Maryland man' by the mainstream press and elected Democrats the nation over. For days, that narrative was set – this mild mannered, suburban father is as American as you or me. He was just raising his family when Trump snatched him up for no reason and sent him to a maximum-security prison in El Salvador… of all places!

Can you believe it?

Then the facts—stubborn things—began to emerge. Garcia is an illegal alien and has been in the United States since 2011 (how did he game the system for 14 years, an average person might ask?). And he has a deportation order from an immigration court.

Several US law enforcement agencies and two national governments believe he is a member of MS-13, an ultra-violent transnational criminal gang known for brutal tactics, including murder, drug trafficking, and extortion, with strong ties to Central America that Trump has now designated a foreign terrorist organization.

Gracia's wife took out protective orders against him in 2021 alleging that he violently beat her (punched and scratched, ripped off her shirt, and grabbed and bruised her, according to the complaint).

Now Garcia's wife – an American citizen – is denying his gang involvement and pleading for his return.

Meanwhile, we're learning more. Garcia was reportedly stopped by the Tennessee Highway Patrol in 2022 and suspected of involvement in human trafficking.

But Joe Biden's FBI, for some reason, asked local authorities to let him go. Even though Garcia had no drivers' license at the time.

Today, Garcia sits in an El Salvador jail, one of the hundreds of criminal aliens the Trump Administration sent out of the country as it fulfills a campaign promise to deport those who entered the country illegally, starting with the worst of the worst (a promise, by the way, which has the backing of a majority of the American people in recent polling).

And did I mention that Garcia was a citizen of El Salvador to begin with?

The Trump Administration sent him back to his country of origin, despite what you may have heard about this so-called 'Maryland man.'

Now, there are complications, of course.

The US Supreme Court has ordered the Trump Administration to facilitate Garcia's return to the US after it was revealed that he was 'mistakenly' deported to El Salvador, despite a judge's 2019 order baring him from being sent there.

The issue of what 'faciliate' means is being adjudictated by the courts.

But when, I ask, was Gracia granted sainthood?

The Democratic Party's reaction has been to this is to martyr this man. In pictures, Senator van Hollen looks like he's on a Tinder date.

And Saint Garcia is hardly the Democratic Party's first odd choice for martyrdom.

After October 7, many radical Democrats—elected and grassroots—threw in with Hamas against Israel, concluding that rape, murder, and kidnapping was justified.

Today, the left fights hard for foreign students with American visas—a privilege, not a right—who are fomenting pro-terrorism activity on college campuses while bullying their Jewish schoolmates.

The left has even gone as far as giving two alleged criminals their day in the sun.

Luigi Mangione, who is charged with murdering cold blood the CEO of United Health Care CEO Brian Thompson in December, was called a 'moral man' on national television this week by ex-Washington Post, ex-New York Times, lefty journalist Taylor Lorenz.

'You're gonna see women especially that feel like, 'Oh my God, here's this man who's a revolutionary, who's famous, who's handsome, who's young, who's smart, he's a person that seems like this morally good man,' which is hard to find,' Lorenz told CNN.

And Lorenz is not alone, as there are legions of left wing, pro-Luigi supporters online, digitally throwing themselves at this lunatic every day.

Finally, there's 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony of Texas. He, too, is being showered with donations (over half a million dollars as of this writing) after he, according to police and witnesses, stabbed to death another teenager in the heart at a high school track meet on April 2.

The alleged perpetrator in this case is black, the victim white. Can you imagine what would be happening in the streets of America if the circumstances were reversed?

What is about these cases that is so appealing to liberals? Is it that progressive ideology dictates that they see the world as divided into the oppressors and the oppressed, for whom any 'resistance' is justified?

Is it that when Donald Trump does something, they have to reflexively oppose it no matter how stupid it makes you look?

Or is it because they believe that American society is rotten at its core and, therefore, sowing chaos and anarchy to bring about its downfall is warranted?

Whatever their reasons, until the liberal left rids itself of these impulses, it is going to have a hard time against Trump and his new common sense Republican coalition.
